Wanted to share a few more photos from my trip a couple weeks ago. One of my favorite places I visited was the Rosendals Trädgård which I posted about in my last entry. Here are a few more photos of the pretty place. I also uploaded a few photos of some goodies from Pärlans. Pärlans is an adorable artisan caramel shop. There caramels are some of the best I've had. So naturally I bought a bagful to bring back. Unfortunately I only have a few caramels left. It's so hard for me to just eat one at a time. They are so delightful. They also serve ice cream with there caramel sauces. Oh yum.

Lastly I posted a photo of some of my kitchen purchases. I love how bright and colorful everything is. There was so many great housewares. If only it were a bit easier to bring stuff back home.




Well I have been quite busy this past week. Had a lovely time getting together with family and friends. Time is flying and I can't seem to keep up. Can hardly believe we are in the month of July. Hope to be back soon with something creative.

Rosendals Trädgård

Had lunch at one of the most pretty gardens today. It was so nice sitting outside in the sunshine. The weather has finally cleared up and you can truly see Stockholm's beauty. It's was the first day free of rain since I have arrived. I took a few photos with my slr at the garden but I have yet to upload them. For now I have some phone photos.

The little birdie above joined me for lunch and would not leave me alone. He stole bits of cheese right from my plate. It was cute at first but then his friends came along...

Midsummer Day

Hi friends! I'm currently in Sweden and I'm delighted to be here. It's such a treat to get opportunities to travel as it something I truly love. I don't have many words for you as I am very tired from the jet lag but I do have lots of photos. Please enjoy :)

Knitting

2. The knits are piling up. If only the weather wasn't always so warm.

This year my knitting has become out of control. I've always really enjoyed it but these days I knit more then ever. Usually a bit in the morning and then an hour or sometimes two before bed. It's so therapeutic and I find myself really enjoying the process and how accomplished I feel with the end result. I know this stuff seems boring to many but gosh it's exciting to me. Oh the little things.

Now I'm off to run some errands in preparation for my trip tomorrow.

blogging

I haven't been the most dedicated blogger this year. My post are few and far between. I suppose it because my mind has been elsewhere. Most free time is dedicated to creating i.e. sewing, knitting, baking. It's a shame because blogging has been a great way for me to record pieces of my life. This summer I'll be trying to get into a blogging routine.
