finally

I finally I got to sew a bit today. I made a couple of key fobs and worked on a skirt for my mama. I'm having a hard time putting in the invisble zipper. I am a little confused by the directions. Hopefully I can figure it out real soon so I can give her the skirt. My parents came back from Canada today. I was so excited to see them. They bought a whole bunch of tea. I can't wait to enjoy it. I think I just might right now...

I feel like it has been ages since I have sewn.I want to make so many things and now I finally have the time. So tomorrow I am going to take out all my sewing gear and start creating some pretty things. Hopefully I can even make stuff for me etsy shop.

Ugh

My Nikon D70 isn't working and I can't figure out what is wrong. I use that camera every single day and I desperatley want it to work again. Hopefully my dad can mess with it and make it work again.

Carrera's

On Thursday we all put on our Carrera Family shirts and went bowling.
It was really fun even though I ended up in last place.

We took a group picture with some of our cousins in our Papi and Abuelita's room before we left.
I love my family so much!

Coca Cola

On Wednesday we went into Las Vegas. We walked around a few nice Hotels and went to the Coca Cola Store.

We sampled a bunch of sodas from different countries.

There was a mint soda from India that was very delicious.
Some of the other sodas were not so good.

So on Tuesday I left to Henderson with almost all my cousins.
The drive felt surprisingly short.

When we got to the hotel the first thing everyone wanted to do was hit the pool

The little ones never wanted to get out.
After that we got some nachos and then went to bed. We were all exhausted.

little vacation

Tomorrow I get to go on a little vacation with the familia.
I am so excited. I have been craving a small getaway for months...
We will be in Neveda for a few day.
Unfortunately my parents or syblings aren't able to come but...
my lovely uncles, aunts, cousins will all be there!
That means I get to spend some quality time with these folks.

Last week I went to D.J's kindgarten promotion. It was precious!





I'm so proud of little D.J. I can't believe he is going to be a 1st grader.

It was super cute.

They even remembered to put gasoline in there mowers.
I love them.

Ryn Graduates

Today was Coryn's high school graduation. I am super proud of her. She even got an award at the ceremony. : )



I can hardly believe she is all done with high school. She is now at Disneyland for grad night. I hope she is having an amazing time.

shopped sewed celebrated.

Today I shopped, sewed and celebrated Gabby's graduation.
I'm so glad I finally got to sew. I hadn't sewn for months. I was having withdrawals.haha.
Then I got to shop for some summery clothes. I actually did good and was able to snag a few good deals.
After I headed to Gabby's graduation.

She looked super cute in her pretty dress! Too bad you can't really see it in this picture...
I still need to post some of the cute pictures of D.J.'s promotion. It was so adorable.

Graduation

There are quite a few graduates in the family this year.
Coryn, Daniel, and Brianna are all graduating from high school

and

Adam,Becca, and Jackie from Junior High.
I'm super proud of all of them. Today we will celebrate there accomplishments with the familia. I'm excited

Oh and Evan and D.J. finished kindergarten.

Dance Recital

I went to the cutest Dance Recital ever.

The kids made my heart melt.

They were all so adorable.

Well tomorrow I am off to downtown LA. I have to get some fabric and then I am heading to the dream center. I can't wait!

Wooohooooo!

Words can not express how happy I am. I am sooooooo excited for summer. I am seriously crying tears of joy. Freedom at last.
I'm longing for road trips, picnics, bbqs and all sorts of other summery things.
It is going to be so nice not having to worry about a test coming up or some paper I have to write.
So tomorrow is my offical first day of summer. Unfortunately I will probably start it off by cleaning my messy room. Lame. But it really needs to be done. Who knows what I will do next though. Hopefully it will be something fun.

O here is a picture of some of the students in my salsa class. This is the only class I will miss. I had so much fun dancing around.

I would totally take a salsa class again. I just loved it.

sanity

I'm slowly losing my sanity.
but don't worry friends it should be back by Thursday after finals.

My big math final is tomorrow afternoon. Prayers would be greatly appreciated. It is extremely comforting knowing someone is praying I do well. I really must pass this class but I haven't done so well on my last two tests. Same thing with Biology I bombed the mid term even though I studied like crazy. I don't know why math and science stuff won't stick in my head. It is so frustrating.

Well I better catch some zzz's

Parties

Today was a crazy day
I went to
a tea party
a going away party
and
a graduation party.

It was super fun but extremely busy. I started my day by helping set up for the tea party. I made oatmeal cookies, scones, and devonshire cream.


Then I went to a going away party for my lovely friends, the Bartles, who are moving a few hours away. I'm going to miss them dearly. I love them all so much. I of course don't want them to leave but I am super excited for them. I will most definitely have to go and visit them...


After that I went to a graduation party for my friend Emily. I can't believe she is graduating. It feels like she just left to school. I'm so proud of her.

It was a great day but unfortunately I never studied. So that means no fun for me tomorrow. I need to buckle down and work on homework.

Life is a little blurry right now

I have lots of decisions to make. The stresses of school are really getting to me.

Hopefully with the start of summer things will really start to clear up.

On a brighter note today I am going to try and study, go to work, bake oatmeal cookies, and maybe go salsa dancing!

Crazy

It's eleven forty five and this little dog is going crazy.


I just got home and Mimi is acting like no one has given her any attention all day. She brought me all her toys and started pulling on my clothes. Unfortunately I am way too tired to throw her toy around so she will just have to wait until tomorrow to get played with.
Thank God tomorrow is Friday. I am super excited for the weekend!

why am I still awake

Im stressed to the max...
It's almost twelve and I am extremely tired.
Goodness the stress that end of the year causes a college student is horrible.
I just finished my application for London. I am praying I did everything correctly. But we will see I am turning it in tomorrow.
I still really need to make some money to pay for the trip. This stresses me out. I mean the trip cost a lot of money... Money that I don't have.
I pray the Lord provides a way that I can quickly earn money before I go.
