Congratulations Joel and Mindy

I went to the most lovely Spring Wedding yesterday. Our dear friends Mindy and Joel tied the knot. It was simply sweet. Please enjoy some of the photos I snapped. Life these days

Uh oh... Blogger has finally forced me to switch over to there new home page layout. I still need to figure out how to use the darn thing. I'm sure its ten times better then the old one. Anyways Iv'e been pretty busy these days. Between school, work, and other weekly tasks I haven't done too much. When I do get free time I usually find myself wanting to create. So this means somethings will be baked, knitted, crocheted, or sewed. I also absolutely love to read and that of course consumes my time as well. Currently I have way way too many books. Quite a few of those are knitting, sewing, or crochet books. I find the best way I learn is by teaching myself through books. Thats how I learned to knit and crochet. The Library is a fantastic resource for such books. They have a ton of craft books. I finished the above project last week. It turned out lovely. I must take some pictures of me wearing it. I made some rosemary shortbread cookies. Goodness I just love Rosemary. I'm always trying to bake with it. They turned out wonderfully delicious. Random observation of the week. I wear a whole lot of florals. I mean my entire wardrobe is pretty much made of all things lacy, ruffly, floral and few polka dots for good measure. I am such a girl... Happy Sunday xo -esther

Newborns always seem to remind me of how beautiful life truly is.

I think he looks sweetest in his mama's arms.

Such joy he brings.

Thank you Lord for the gift of life. I rejoice in his birth.

pieces of Easter

Unfortunately I didn't snap to many photos on Sunday. I was busy trying to record video. It's quite a challenge to switch my mind from video mode to picture mode so I usually just do one or the other. I'll try to post video of our Easter tomorrow. I plan on making it today.

Below are three things that made our celebration wonderful.

time is precious

Time is precious.
It quickly passes by and we forget the little things.
like days hanging out at the park or getting a meal with your brother and sister..
Many of us do a good job at trying to document big things like weddings, vacations, birthdays but we forget about the stuff in between.
I really treasure the days spent knitting in my room or lounging in the front yard. The simple things that I may forget about in 20 years.

Because of this I really want to try and take more video of these "simple things"
I want to always be able to remember these days always.

So below is a video made up of pieces of my life. I didn't really edit it. Instead just mashed up all the videos and set it to one of my favorite songs.

Tuesday

Today I spent the first half of my day with this little one.

We shopped, went to the park, enjoyed taco Tuesday at Pacific Fish Grill, and got some yummy yogurt. It was wonderful.
I just love her to pieces. She is such a sweetheart.
