homework

A few days ago my neighbor snapped a couple of pictures of Mimi and I doing some homework in the front yard. I was laying out under my lovely orange tree listening to The Shins and Damien Rice while trying to understand my math. I find myself studying subjects I neither understand or am even interested in far too often.Remind me not to take Math and Science at the same time again. I wish I had a history or English class this quarter. Heck who am I kidding I would probably be complaining if I had any of those classes. But I really do enjoy history. It is by far my favorite subject and I have yet to take any history class this year.

Ugh...I'm just tired of school in general. I find myself daydreaming about summer on a daily basis. I'm dreaming of swimming and road trips/day trips.

Right now I am studying Biology. I'm trying not to think of the hundred other things that I need to do.I probably shouldn't be blogging...

Yesterday I got to meet some of my favorite little girls family. I introduced myself to their nice mama and sweet granny. I am so glad that I am starting to make connections with their family.

We hung out around their house and Gaby got her hair braided.

I had a yet another wonderful day with amazing people in Jordan Downs. Im already looking forward to next week.

Woohoo I made it through another insanely long day. My day included a math quiz, dancing, volunteering at the childrens center and a nice little picninc.


Over all this hectic day wasn't all that bad.

noooo not again

It seems like every year around this time I begin to go a tad crazy.
I have so much to do when the school year comes to an end and not enough time to do it.
I need to do so much but I so badly want to do other things.
Of course finishing the school year with wonderful grades is on the top of the list but entering a contest that would be rather time consuming is also something that I want to do.
Then on top of that their are a bunch of random things that I need to do like sew some stuff, go to a party (I guess I don't need to do this but I certainly want to), and babysat. Oh and I need more babysitting jobs. Thank God I got some last week. I think I babysat 4 times. But I really need more seeing that it is my pretty much my income right now. These babysitting jobs are really helping me save up for England. I still have a long way to go but every little job makes studing in a London a reality.

Oh and I have a math quiz tomorrow. I seriously hope I do well. Ahhh and Biology is making me crazy.
I am praying that the good Lord takes away all of my stresses away.
Goodness I really needt to learn how to not let all of this craziness get to me cause something tells me life isn't going to get any easier.

Saturday

Last saturday I ended up going to the Dream center alone. Gaby usually always goes with me but she had some stuff to do back home. I was a tad nervous about going all by my lonesome but it wasn't bad at all because I have made alot of friends at the dream center. So when we get to the projects in south central I had people to stay with. My friend Ladi and I got to hang out with two of my favorite girls.


We had so much fun playing with them and just hanging out with them. I can't wait til next week so that I can see them again. The little one is sick with a cold. I am praying she get's better real quick. Poor baby. I just love them to pieces.

day to day life

A while ago I began to try to take more pictures of my day to day life. These are the pictures I seem to like the best. The ones where I will look back and say, "oh I remember when I had those sheets are that laptop"or "did I ever make my bed?" So often I am taking pictures of faces and not nearly enough of my suroundings.

I love looking at the background of old pictures of me when I was a kid. It helps me remember random things like our old couch or all the different toys I loved playing with.

By the way, I use my tripod my uncle bought me to capture my daily life shots. I seriously love taking pictures and really need to take some photo classes soon.
