Vacation

Woohoo tomorrow I leave for vacation. I can hardly wait to get away. Today was a very busy day. I went to get my blood taken early this morning and the place was closed which made me very frustrated because I had fasted for nothing (I have to fast 12 hours before I get my blood it done) I am going to try and get it taken tomorrow before we leave. I am praying that it will work out.

Then I went to work. We took the kids on a field trip to Adventure Playground. After I came home, packed all my stuff, and then went to visit Suzelle and her baby at the hospital once again. Now finally I am going to get the rest I need to make it through through the long drive and my blood test(ugh I am such a wimp and still dreading it.)

So Sweet

Today my good friend Suzelle gave birth to her sweet baby boy. I went over to the hospital after work to see her and her precious son. His name is Jacob Ryan and he is absolutely perfect. He was born around noon and I got to the hospital around seven to meet and hold the little guy.


He is so adorable.


He is just hours old.

Like I always say Lord willing one day I will be a Mama. I always pray I will be blessed with children to love and shower with kisses. I just can't wait to be a mother.

Scaredy Cat

I am such a baby when it comes to getting a shot or having my blood taken. Tomorrow I have to get my blood drawn for my yearly physical and I am freaking out. I know it doesn't hurt but the whole blood/needle/vein thing grosses me out. I can hardly stand it. It's one of my biggest fears. It's completely embarrassing so hopefully I will get over it soon. After all I do want to have like six kids. Lord knows I will have to deal with lots of needles and stuff if I do have that many children. I am just praying that I can not worry about the whole thing and act like a big 18 year old and not a little 5 year old.

So I don't like to post a blog without a picture. So here is a pic of Alyse and I.

Anyways I haven't been able to post regularly because my internet has been acting up. It is so annoying. It is kind of crazy how dependent I am on it. I mean I can go a day without it but it is frustrating when it doesn't want to work.

I am so excited my vacation to Mammoth is only days away!!

Henna

Today the girls and I went to the Covina Farmers Market and got henna tats. It was really fun. They had so many cool designs to choose from but I just decided on a simple flower. Coryn got the same thing but I don't have a picture of her with it.





I love how the lady put glitter on it. It made it so pretty.

Well I am off to bed.

Coming Home

On the way home I listened to a variety of music to keep me entertained. Including Michael Jacksons Smooth Criminal. I just love MJ.



Not much out there. Just trains. But the drive back wasn't to bad. I got to sit shotgun for most of the way. Thanks Uncle "D"

I loved the trip but there is nothing like being home.

Day two in Laughlin

Day two brought sunburned skin and smiling faces.

I had a fun time hanging out with this little guy.

We ate and relaxed in the shade.

We left around five and went back to the hotel for swimming.

The pool was nice and cool.
Then Jackie and I went up to the room to wash the smelly lake water off of us.
Finally feeling refreshed and clean.

That was our day.

Day One in Laughlin

I had a wonderful time in Laughlin with my cousins. This is how my day went.

The day began with beautiful blue skies.



As soon as we got there we got ready for the jet skis.



Although the sky was beautful and blue it was extremely hot. I think they said it was around 115. Just way too hot. So I was always in the water trying to stay nice and cool. Then not even twenty minutes after the picture above was taken a extremly windy sand storm approached.

It was surreal causing havoc around the lake. Parents trying to get there kids out of the water. The wild weather sent us packing all our belongings up.


Then we went back to the hotel. I got to ride with this cool cat.


After we went to In-N-Out. Then we went to the hotel and I quickly went to bed. I was exhausted. The heat was so draining. Storm set a side such a wonderful day.

Hot Hot Heat

So today I am off to Nevada with my wonderful second family (My Uncle "D", Auntie Sophie and the kids. We will be back from Laughlin on Saturday.

Its going to be really great but I am dreading the heat. I just checked the forcast for today and its going to be 113 degrees and on Saturday it should hit 118. But at least we will have the cool water to swim in and go boating on.

Well I will blog when I get back and hopefully post lots of pictures.

I really have nothing to post about today. I mean I guess I could think of something clever but the truth is I am too tired. I had another long day.I went from watching kids all day at work to babysitting kids in the evening. But honestly I really love doing it.

So super random but here are a couple of picture of the little cap my wonderful friend Justine got me for my graduation. Isn't it cute. It is a gift card holder.

Need a Vacation

Here is a picture of the family minus David in Oregon. We were there 2 years ago today. I really need a family vacation. I want to get away. I think this is the third post I have left about past vacations. At least this week I get to go away for a few days. I am going to Laughing with my cousins. We are going to have so much fun. I can't wait.

Back to Bows

So I finally had a little time to get in the creative mood. I made a few different baby bows and started sewing again. I just love to sew. I think its because I just love the fabric. O dear I am using the word love too much again. I always do. I always say that the English language didn't give us enough words for all the different types of love.

But anyways fabric is just so fun. I just love touching it and seeing all the pretty colors and prints. Well I will post pictures of my finished sewing products soon. O and I am working on carry all bag to sell for Lovely Lemondrops. Hopefully I will finish it soon and post pictures on my facebook fanpage.

Non-Stop

Today was crazy.

First I went to a BBQ with my parents. It was really nice. I got to meet a few of my dads coworkers.

Then we went to Diddy Riese to get some delicious ice cream sandwiches. They were so amazing.

I got home around six and then I left to my friend Suzelle's baby shower. I could only stay for a bit because I had to head over to my friend Katie's birthday party.

Well let me just tell you three parties can really exhaust a girl. Now I need some sleep.

Twirl

I love wearing dresses. I would wear them all the time if I could. During the school year I would wear skirts and dresses often. I need to buy some more. I just think they are so much more pretty then shorts and a t-shirt

Well my favorite dresses are the kind you can twirl in. When I was a little girl I use to love to twirl and twirl til I was too dizzy to walk.

Today was the second half of orientation. It was long hot day. I am glad it is over and done with. I start school on September 24 which is nice because I will get a nice long summer.

After orientation I went to my cousins house. We relaxed and ate Popsicles. Here are some silly pictures we took.


In the pictures below we put the Popsicle on our lips like we did when we were little kids. haha. I miss those days.

I remember always pretending it was red lipstick but it barely even made our lips red.

O well we had lots of fun.

Freshman

Today was Freshman orientation. It seemed so long. I was so ready to leave half way through it. It was from 8 to 5. I learned about the campus and met a lot of people which was really great. I am kind of dreading going back for part 2 of the whole thing tomorrow but who knows it might be really fun. I just got to be positive.

After I went to babysit which was really fun. I had 4 boys and 2 girls tonight. They were all really sweet. I think I read around eleven or twelve bedtime stories. During the last few I was dosing off. Well I better go to sleep now before I fall asleep on this computer.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July. All day I couldn't stop thinking of all the brave soldiers who are fighting for our country or who have in the past. Those men and woman are amazing. I hope and pray all of our soldiers are feeling appreciated. I can't imagine the things that they must have gone through to keep the USA a safe place.

I pray that God continues to bless America and that we as a country honor him and we always remember that we are...
