My Girls

So a couple of weekends ago my cousin Becca celebrated her thirteenth birthday. So we sleep over at my Uncle and Aunts house. We had a really fun time together except for the fact that these girls did not let me sleep. Haha. I kind of forgot that when your younger and still have a bed time you take advantage of the time when you don't have your parents telling you to go to bed. Being the person I am I like to go to bed early (even when I did have a bed time it was always early to bed early to rise for me) Sleep is good :] So I insisted that we all hit the hay and the girls thought I was insane. They wanted to make a dance, do toilet paper wedding dresses and all that fun stuff. Keep in mind that it is twelve and I am in Chino and need to be at church in Covina in the morning. So I just tell them that I am going to bed and they can do all those things with out me. A few minutes later they start blasting the music and then rip my covers right off of me. So not fun. Well enough about my sleepless night. Here are some of the pictures of our fun makeover time. Being the "big" cousin I get to do all these fun things with them.

Summer So Soon

It really felt like a summer today. I got really excited. I just loved the weather this morning. It was perfect. The summertime is my absolute favorite. But then as the day went on I thought to myself are we just can skip spring? I hope not. Spring is wonderful too.

Anyways back to summer. O just the thought of it. Summer means
-eating tons of watermelon
-going to the beach
-laying under my orange trees watching the sunset
-not worrying about what day/time it is
-going swimming in my wonderful neighbors pool
-more time for baking/cooking
-waking up to sun shiny days!!(one of my favorite things)
-getting things done.(because there is no excuse to procrastinate)
-spending time with my mama (I love that she is a teacher)
-traveling
- jet skis and boating
-going to museums
-sewing sewing sewing :]
-more reading time!!
-going to the movies (I just love it because when you walk into the theatre it is nice and cool)
-so much to do.

Those are just a few. Geez I am so excited now. But also sad at the same time. The beginning of summer means the end of high school. And boy did I have a great time. I am most definitely going to miss it. I just have mixed feelings. Don't get me wrong thought I am thrilled about going to college. I am excited that I will get to meet lots of new people but not so excited about the work aspect of it. Haha. I am not really the studious type. I can't wait to take culinary classes though. I am juat not too happy about taking those general ed classes. But that is life and you do what needs to be done. Anyways for right now I will just focus and enjoy my senior year.

So every Easter my Abuelita makes confetti eggs for all the kids. It is so much fun and never really gets old.

There is nothing like sneaking up on your relatives and smashing an egg on their head.

My Easter

I went to a nice church service and then to this wonderful chaos at my Uncle and Aunts house. I love all my cousins. I really do.


I love watching the kids run out to get the eggs. It is so cute.

O and I learned something new my little cousin Davey really likes playing basketball. I thought these pictures were cute. I really need to figure out how to use a program that will make the pictures bigger when you click on them. Cause these are way too small. Then you could see the cute expression on his face.

My Guys

I love these little boys. Today I went to my Papi and Abuelita's house. I got to spend the day with my favorite little cousins.

too much sun.

I love them so much. O notice the rope they are holding. I took them on a walk to the shopping center by the house. It would have been too hard to keep my eyes on all four boys so they held the rope. It worked great but so many people were staring at us. Haha. It was such a beautiful day. O I just love life.

Cleaning

Ugh I am so messy.I started doing my spring cleaning today. So not fun. It is not the best way to kick start you spring break but it desperately needed to be done. The horrible thing is that I am not even a quarter of the way done. I am really going to aspire to be clean. Well it is not that I am dirty It is just that I am unorganized. So I need to aspire to be neat.

Wow I need to stop complaining. How lame am I. At least I have a room filled with everything I need.

Enough about that. Right now I am at my cousins house. We are watching the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. They have never seen it. I love watching good chick flicks with people who have never them. Well time for fun sleepover thigs with Jess, Jackie, and Lorisa.

Too Fast

She is growing way too fast. Yesterday I was looking at her lay in the basket we brought her home in. She use to look so tiny in it and now she looks like she barely fits. I hope she is almost done growing.
